...are you ready for a adventure rafting?
Last season we invested in a 2 new rafts, kayaks and
safety equipment. Why not try our one or two day tour
to our exclusive camp on the other side of the Andes.
ONE DAY TOUR.
We stop at small Andean towns & villages en route
including. Taking in lunch at Barinas you will enjoy
a delicious and traditional carne barbecue… for
the vegetarian, there are alternatives.
An hour further will bring you to camp. The RAFTING
is for 2 to 2.5 hours on grade 3-4 white water with
a qualified guide set amongst the lush vegetation at
the foot of the Andes. The KAYAKING is for 3 hours again
on grade 3-4 white water rapids.
Note: During the one day tour you will have to choose
if you want to do rafting or kayaking, it's not possible
to do both on the same trip.
 TWO
DAY TOUR.
This trip will take in the same journey high across
the Venezuelan Andes, including a stop at the Condor
Rehabilitation centre in the mountains, lunch in Barinas
and arriving at our camp in the early afternoon. That
day you will raft for 2 to 2.5 hours on grade 3-4 white
water. On the 2nd day you will have the option to choose
to do a RAFTING trip for 4 to 4.5 hours starting higher
on the Acequia river in grade 4-5 white water or do
a KAYAKING trip of 3 hours through rapids of grade 3.
After another traditional slap up feed you will be brought
back across the Andes into Merida.
Important:
Different tours assume different levels of fitness,
ability, or experience. Some tours require a high degree
of physical stamina, others none at all. Two people
can go on the same tour - one will find it easy, another
exhausting. It is your responsibility to provide and
discuss all relevant health and other information with
Guamanchi Expeditions that may affect your ability to
fully participate in your preferred tour. Thank you.
 RATES:
- Tour with 1 person: 400 $
- Tour with 2 persons : 200 $ per person
- Tour with 3 persons : 150 $ per person
- Tour with 4 persons and more : 100 $ per person
Rates for rafting tour (may to october) and
kayak tour (novembert to april) are for the 2 days tour.
