Merida is one of the best places in the world for paragliding.
People come from diferent countries to fly with their own paraglider or tandem with an instructor. The valley of Merida offer different take off places to fly. Tierra Negra is the best place to fly soaring, and for tandem flights. It's just one hour by jeep from the city of Merida. It is possible to fly every day starting at 9:00am or 3:30pm.
Guamanchi Expeditions offer you tandem flights with a skilled pilot or begginer paragliding courses with experienced instructors.

Different tours assume different levels of fitness, ability, or experience. Some tours require a high degree of physical stamina, others none at all. Two people can go on the same tour - one will find it easy, another exhausting.
