Canyoning in "La Chorrera", one of Mérida's
most beautiful and highest waterfalls.
If you are looking for one of the most exciting adventures
of your life, packed with adredalin-charged fun, then
come with us!
Our excursion starts with a 50 minute drive and then
a 30 minute trek to reach the starting point for our
canyoning trip. We will spend the day rappelling down
waterfalls, thorough cloud forest vegetation with beautiful
views of the Sierra Nevada de Mérida.
It's starts off easy. We begin with some basic training
on some small falls, and then with a bit of practice
under your belt we will move on to the 50 meter challange!
After the return trek you will then return with us to
Mérida, (unless you have chosen a paragliding
conclusion to your afternoon!) with great memories and
tall tales!
Note: We use only professional equipment: Petzl harnesses,
karabinas and descenders, Boreal static roaps, Pro-Tec
Helment and wet suits.
Important:
Different tours assume different levels of fitness,
ability, or experience. Some tours require a high degree
of physical stamina, others none at all. Two people
can go on the same tour - one will find it easy, another
exhausting. It is your responsibility to provide and
discuss all relevant health and other information with
Guamanchi Expeditions that may affect your ability to
fully participate in your preferred tour. Thank you.
